The Tokai Technology Center, a general incorporated foundation, conducts "performance evaluation tests for automotive interior materials" and "chemical substance emission tests from office equipment such as printers." Among automotive interior materials, we measure substances that are considered to cause irritation to the nose and throat, such as formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, and toluene, through "VOC tests," as well as various other tests including "odor tests," "haze tests," and "flammability tests."
